Oh where to start. . . How about BUBBLE WRAP!

So one of my favorite presents this year was the small section of bubble wrap I found in my stocking. A note was attached in Santa's handwriting (which has an uncanny resemblance to my Dad's). It said "this will be self explanatory later". Later that morning the boys and I were surprised with a new Dog! His name is Cyrus and he suffered (as did we) from his severe case of Happy Tail. It took me a long time to get to know my dog. For most of the day I just knew him as a black blur with a with a flash of white at the tip of his tail. I assumed he had a white spot. Not so. It was actually a band-aid. The first of dozens which he would eventually ingest.

Here is Cyrus' favorite past time. He could fetch a ball all day long- and tear them apart.

Cyrus finally got his tail whacked off because we couldn't get it to heal. We first taped a cardboard box over his tail so he would stop eating the bandages (even with the cone on). Next step was taping a water bottle over it. At this point he is in a larger cone with 5 staples to replace the stitches and staples that he pulled out. He has been in to the vet twice to get new staples. We have now duct taped a new water bottle onto his tail complete with air vent holes to move air through when he wags his tail. Should have tried the bubble wrap. . .
